Tax the taxing taxes so the taxes can be taxed...............It's GOOD to be the gov.
Yeah, and then you have the IRS to make sure NO ONE gets a part of their pie!

My insurance is for liability only too. I almost think the $50 is a mistake, but I ain't tellin.

Thank you for the tip Earl about the AMA. I am looking forward to putting some miles on my bike.

My bike is almost done here! My exhaust gaskets and new mains will be here today. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes. I was still lean with individual filters. I bought a few sets of sizes up, just in case.

I am in Louisiana which has one of the highest vehicle insurance rates in the country.

I have Allstate and my limits are a bit higher than the state minimums. I have 25,50,25 for bodily injury and property damage, $1,000.00 medical for each person and then uninsured motorist for bodily injury at $25,000.00 per person. Premium is $130.00 per 6-months,

last year with co operators i was paying about $130 a month!! (basic coverage) this year i switched to 'the personal' and its more like $50 a month. makes me sick to my stomach to see what counts as 'expensive insurance' in the US.

Canadians are too complacent, instead of rioting in the streets we just bend over and pull out our wallets again and again.

$396.00 for the year for two bikes with Nationwide.

But one is a brand new 2012 Kawasaki Concours and the other is my custom Cafe racer which is valued at $18,000 on the policy.

I don't even have coverage on the XS11 yet since it's in pieces.

I hate to burst your bubble but here in Florida motorcycles are not required to carry insurance. You do have to carry $10k of medical insurance if you ride without a helmet.

Just don't get caught riding here in GA that way! Insurance is required no matter what state issued your tag. AND, don't forget your helmet.

This thread is like comparing apples and broccoli. Insurance rates have way too many variables to have any relevance other than just for the fun of it.
