    making progress on my new xs1100..special thanks to tat2demon for all the help and advice..much appreciated!!

    just got the fork seals,headset bearings and breaks freshensd up and working good....starting on thr rear shocks and shaft drive service next then on to tune up and valve adjust

    heres a couple pics with the kiddo,s helping me

    good fun working with them in the shop

    for some reason i cant post pictures ...the posting rules says "i may not post attachments"

    anyone know why?

        If you have a photobucket account post the IMG code in your post and the pic will show. If you don't have one get one....

              I'm only a smart ass to throw them off the fact I am really a dumb ass.

              Yeah, this forum does not host pictures, it takes up to much storage space, so instead you post them to a hosting site like photobucket or flickr, then post the IMG code into your post here. OR you can use the image posting button above, looks like a photo of a mountain with a rising sun...yellow...and put the http code in there. It basically adds the IMG coding.... [img ] [/img ]

                    Welcome to the Madness

                    Open up your Pbucket account, or other, just like any other with a username and Pword. Click on upload, choose pics & vids, from your folder or documents, when uploaded to pbkt. left click on "image", right click and copy, come back here to the post your preparing to . . well . . post, right click and paste and thats it. Preview your post to be certain it worked and you should be good.

                      o.k ill try the p bucket thing

                      got the front end done..seals touch up paint head set....etc...

                      started on shocks final drive...oh and the nasty rear brake.....good call nate...

                      moly ed up the splines general cleaning ...looking good...should be done tomorrow with back

                      didnt go after swing arm bearings..everything seemed to move really good so i left it alone


                      now im second guessing that...

                        The swingarm bearings aren't that big a deal once you have everything else apart. The worst of it is disconnecting the driveshaft.

                        You'll need one of these to reassemble properly.
