Yep, it is an SF, it has the round reflectors. The 80-81 had rectangular reflectors mounted to the frame.

Hard to see in that pic but it looks like the tank is all black.

Here's one from the rear, 5th from the left. The bike just to the left of Limie.

The gentleman in alabama is Steve Scott...he also had Bob build a custom XS11 to his own specifications. He never rides with the group but has a habit of coming one day to hang with folks at the lodge...never ave seen him run with us...

            Bob's Custom Bikes

Hello everyone. I am currently in process of trying to contact the current owners of Bob's custom bikes. I am hoping that we can possibly get them all together at this year's XS Southeast rally. .

Steve Scott brought one of three of his bikes last year. Hope to get him there again in 2014. I have been in touch with Karla and she thinks this is a "cool" idea. She has passed along some contact info of several people so far.

            I will keep you posted.

                Bob Jones bikes

I will be at the Southeast ralley this year along with my brother Al. Together we have 4 of Bob's bikes. We rode with the group at Karla's a few years ago. We have the two SSR bikes that Bob built. We both live in central Alabama. Not opposed to group riding but enjoy the " loner" thing especially in the Smokies. We would love to host a day meeting in Ala. sometime. We are 90 miles south of Atlanta.

Hi Steve, Glad to see you respond to this thread. Did not know you (and your brother) had that many of Bob's bikes. Would like to hear that story one day.

Karla has given me some contact info for some of the guys who used to work with Bob that will help find out where the bikes are. I spoke to one of them this past weekend and have a few more left to contact. Trying to get everyone together at the next rally. Karla may end up coming. Time will tell.

Would be up for a meeting in Alabama.
