YOU'RE RIGHT! One man's junk ...
The only reason I mentioned the text was that I thought it was very odd for someone to be so proud of building something like this! Wow!Last edited by Prisoner6; 12-27-2013, 08:46 PM.Marco

proud? And so he should be, that's a superb piece of engineering.
If you want a car-based trike, that is.
What I like is the way it's registered as a 550 Kawi, that's pure genius.
And it looks good. I've seen car/trike hybrids in parades and such that were true gas axe specials while this one looks factory.Fred Hill, S'toon

I really should have been clearer in stating my opinion; while I do appreciate the engineering skill it took to build something like this (skills I will never have), it is just not something I would ever want or own.Marco

Whoa lads! such negativity
Hideous? certainly, worth 6 grand? certainly not, I'm with you there. Junk? not if he has travelled as far as he claims, utilitarian would be a better description.
This thing has clearly given this bloke fantastic fun, he's been a long way on it and owned it a fair few years.
I built this trike 12 years ago and have driven it all over America.
How many times have modern bike owners asked us XS11 riders.... "why dya ride that old thing?" .....Kinda puts us in the same league as this guy doesn't it.
Live and let live.Tom
