      Hi Mack,
just this once I'd approve taking a Sawzall to it.
The actual XS11 portion would still be way over the Post Office parcel size
and weight limits but would crate up and ship via truck just fine.

Hey Fred, you (and soon your next of kin) could ride the beast to the Great White North. Or rent a boat trailer and lay on its side. Or better yet, pay the guy, then sawzall the front off right in front of him and just cart home the semi-working part. If it ran at all before, I'm sure you could get it going. The mysteries of the XS11 carb bank have baffled many would-be artisans.

I'd pay $10.00 just to see him drive that bike above 50 mph on a mild county road. I had a relative build an old Harley with a long rake springer front end and all was fine till he hit a small bump at 50. The front started bouncing nearly a foot off the ground bike weaving and wobbling. He finally got it stopped and drove home at 30 pulled it off and that was the end of the long rake for him. He's has been branded with the nick name Harley-hopper now for over 35 years. Guy's that do this to bikes are high quality entertainment if you can just get them to drive it.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.

              Hi Schming,
sure it is and I did see there were only 3 exhaust pipes but just this once my arthritic typing finger was outrunning my elderly brain.

I really wish I has saved a copy of a CL ad I saw earlier this year in the Michigan Upper Peninsula. It was a triple with two turbine (jet) engines- for sale, but not yet tried.

                I was thinking "Darwin award".

                  Fork it.

When I see that kind of genius, it makes me wonder what other interesting mods have been made.
Move on, nothing to see here.
