Saw this on cl awhile back,
Had it listed as an xs 11.
    4nb9w-4162559729@sale.craigslist.org.
I like the way the forks are still there.
Maybe it would spring you backwards out of harms way if you ran into something.
With the exception of being really drunk or high, how could this be a good idea?

Do you have the craigslist listing address? The one you put there is just the contact email for the seller.

He could at least line up the handlebars with the fork angle, wouldn't look half as bad.

Hey Greg, Grand Island has more than two acres, so maybe no problem.
But a more pertinate question is, what did he use to make the extension tubes?
That might be a safety issue.
But, for the price of $1, it might be a buy.

Given that he did not change the actual stearing stem angle on the frame, just welded "extensions" to tubes in the original trees, I would think that even turning the wheel with that set up would take a strong set of arms. I think this rates as "artwork" at best. And not all that good of artwork either.

Can't tell what color the fenders are, but if side cover paint matched the tank maybe he could get $2 for it???

                              Still salvageable

                              C'mon guys,
it's claimed it runs and it still has the rear suspension, eh?
And my son still has the forks & tank from a dead XS750 so I could get it back on the road real cheap.
Mind you, the shipping to Saskatoon would kill the deal for me.
