    If I was to go with that big of a bike, and I thought I'd never say this, the GW F9B is looking pretty good to me. Check out the pics in this Cycle World article:

        Ugh.. It's a Valk with a different headlight and side bags.

            I agree that is isn't much better, but it does make it look a little better.

                  Awwww, trying to say what's good looking in a bike is like deciding what's good looking in a woman: there's more than one answer and some of the criteria contradict. It's not Mother Teresa ugly; maybe Kardashian ugly...too plastic and contrived.

                  In general, I like the old Valks in their bike-wrapped-around-a-big-engine configuration (like the XS11) and dislike the excess plastic, can't-see-the-bike designs. I have contemplated picking up one of the numerous old 'Wings for sale and stripping it down to bobbed Valk status, but then remember the other abortive projects I should finish first. I don't like a bike that seems to try too hard to be hip.

                  Every innovation has a set of fans and detractors. Seventy years ago there were guys moaning about the fenders on an Indian Chief that most of us would cherish today. And the Ol' XS has been bobbed, chopped, chained, wide-tired, etc., to the consternation of most of us. Taste...meh.
