http://www.xs11.com/forum/member.php?u=5014 Has the Navy bike. It still runs great and he still rides it. It's got a bad starter clutch right now so it's been parked for a while. We tried to get him to come to Southeast this year but he wasn't able to get away.

Here's a pic of both bikes, The Street Sleeper and The Navy Bike, both in Russ' garage right after Street Sleeper was sold and getting ready to go to Georgia.

Browsing through photobucket I found a pic of Limey too. While Jeremy still had it.

I have the Street Sleeper, and one of the two SSR bikes Bob made. My brother has the other SSR bike. ( Bob made twin SSR'S ). We are in central alabama. These bikes run very well and we are blessed to have them. Many thanks to Karla.

I see most people calling it "Limey", which is how I would have spelled it, but maybe Bob spelled it different... to be different?

Try your hardest to be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.

You can live to be 100, as long as you give up everything that would make you want to live to be 100!

              Current bikes:
              '06 Suzuki DR650
*'82 XJ1100 with the 1179 kit. "Mad Maxim"

Ha ha ha I stand corrected by the spelling police.

I'll never make that mistake again.

More pics of Bob Jones's bikes and shop.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bob's XS Eleven Heaven store in August 2007. He was gracious enough to invite me to his home where he garaged a lot of the bikes. He had built sort of a museum. There's a few of them in the "In Memoriam" section. Look for Bob Jones R.I.P. posted around April 2010. Unfortunately I did not write anything about the pictures as I did not know how.
                    79 XS1100F.
                    SuperTrapp 4-1 w/center stand.
                    TC's fuse box.
                    SOFA filter.
                    Venture cam chain adjuster.
                    Tkat fork brace.
                    Progressive fork springs.

                      Congrats, Mpittma100.
                      She's a beauty, and a great bike.
Here's hoping you get many miles and years of joy from it!
I know Tod wouldn't sell her to just anybody.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to meet you sometime, and i'll get to see you ride it.
                      Ride safe,

well now I have one more reason to attend the rally...not that I needed it but it would be awesome to see you on Limie and get some good rides in together. Lots of envy as well. I know this bike is in very good hands...and if your Venturer is any indication of how well Limie will be cared for then this bike will have a very good life with you...

Thanks Ben. Going after Limie this weekend. Looking forward to it. A long ride (14 hours) for both of us (Tod and myself). But I am up for it. Need to clean out a stall in the stable.

Currently working on one of 2 Gs that I got this past summer. I will keep one of them. The other one I may have sold. If not, it likely will be for sale. Bike is full bagger with radio in a Vetter Sound System pod. Factory paint (Diamond Silver) is in excellent shape. Has 25K miles. Will go through it mechanically. When I finish her, the only thing she will need is a rider.
