  • Geezer??

Anyone heard from him or talked to him lately? I see last time he was on here was Sept. I was wanting to buy some connectors and such from him, but he's out of just about everything and has been for a while on his website. Didn't know if he's going to re-supply or just getting out of business?

Geezer is having some health issues. He's also still getting settled in a fixer-uper house. He always has a long list of things to do. I'm sure he'll get up and get the biz rolling again as soon as possible.

I'm alive. I had a couple more atrial-fibrillation attacks in the past month seriously complicating an all ready crazy year... The heart doc put me on some new meds and I should have more energy after I recuperate.

I'm likely going to have a procedure done in January that will put a laser burn in my heart to block the stray signals that cause the problem. I do see the irony in that I have an electrical problem...

I'm doing my best. I'm typically weak for a month or so after one of these attacks and this time I had 2 only 15 days apart. It's too soon to know if the meds are going to screw with my energy level less than the other ones but my rhythm is very stable... The big change will come when I have the procedure to stop the stray signal. Essentially they're going to install a resister...

The doc is serious about me loosing weight and I suppose I have to be too. I failed to stay on the last diet but it was the only one that ever worked so I'd say there's hope... I was thin once (long before any of you knew me) and I suppose I could get there again.

My goal is to live long enough to enjoy some retirement after the grandsons take over the biz... There's also good news about the biz, both of the twins are excited about working for the old man. Last summer they were here a lot and worked for me when ever they could. For 10 year olds I had to set up the work projects so that limited what they could do. The first time both of them really worked here they made around 50 bucks each and had a gas of a time at wally-world spending their take...

$50 each? Better watch out. That retired guy, Poprock will be knocking on the door trying to get a little spending cash.

I'm 50 miles away or I would have had him working for me awhile ago... I think I have a worker for next summer. I met a kid at church that is going to be a highschool senior next year and he plans to go become an engineer. I told him that he can work for me next summer if he needs a job.

I really need to get this place in shape so I can refinance. I need to expand my shop space something fierce...

A good friend of mine had that same surgery a few years back Tony. Went like clockwork for him, no problems and a complete success.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Since this last attack I've been hearing a lot of stories like that. I'm really looking forward to it and I'll probably be shutting the biz down for a week in January to recuperate or at least taking a long weekend off...

I'm trying to get as much done as I can. If I don't work, I have no income. R

Right now I'll work for an hour or so then come in and rest for 2 or 3 hours then repeat. I can do that 2 or 3 times a day. If I have to run errands, the day is usually shot.

I'm getting stronger but improvement is slow. I don't know how much of this is from the meds and how much is from the a-fib attacks...
