Yes, there isn't much comfort in the other driver being at fault when you're injured or dead. I have stopped at intersections when I had right-of-way because I just wasn't sure that car was going to stop at that stop sign. It may have save my life at least once. I did it yesterday in the car. The truck driver is yelling out the window at me, but I can't be convinced he's waiting for me if his wheels are turning. I'm sorry he had to work that clutch, stopped on a steep grade, but, OH WELL!
