Why not put what appears to be an even smaller tank on a special.

        Looks stupid to me.....

I never really have understood why people do a sprung seat with suspension.

He's got it listed as an 80, but with the 160mph speedo, it's probably a 79.

            Hi guys,
with that close cropped photo how do we know the fool didn't hardtail it so it needs a sprung seat?
And anyone with an 85mph speedo swapped it out the moment they found a better one so it could well be a 1980.
Didn't the '79 between the gauges light panel have only one turn signal indicator light and that one has two?

There are 2 other pics if you click on the photo tab up above. It suprisingly is not a hardtail!

Ha, I had not seen those photos either, thanks Nate.

I can't help but wonder how long are that guys arms?? Those bars look like I would be getting a stretching exercise to grip them.

                  Hi Nate,
thanks for the heads up on those photos.
So the seller is not an asinine hardtailer after all but someone with a misplaced enthusiasm.
For the same money and far less work he could have bought himself a Sportster
                  and left the XS1100 untouched.
