I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered this one in the clear. Also ordered my fork seals from georgefix. Thanks guys. If anyone has anything to say about this windshield I would like to hear it. If anyone has had it, I would like to know what to expect. Thanks guys.

Shields are like bikes, they fit differently for each rider.Over at Stromtroopers this conversation has been going on for years, and many have purchased many shields and still have not found the correct one that stops buffeting and gives great protection.I know this doesn't help.but the point is,you will have to experiment with your shield until you get the sweet spot for you.

my question is: where would I get replacement for my original Yamaha fairing windshield? I've tried general Google search and not much showed up

          Thanks, Nick

            Vetter

Phil, the Bikescreen information is good to know. I have seen different height windshields for the Vetter fairings, but not one that tall. I need one a little taller than what I have and will consider theirs.

Mike, the guys at bikescreen (Gustafsson Plastics) will make you anything you want, just get on the phone with them. They made me a screen for my extinct Tracy fairing a while back from a mold they had. I'm sure they could make any screen as tall or as short as you need. GL.
