    The guy has been trying to sell that bike for about a year....

    The price keeps getting lower too, but not low enough....

          And for that money, it's not even stock! He's posted about a "german ignition", and the buckhorn bars are NOT on the two last pics. I think with the spares, $2400 would be about right. But, if he can find that ONE person, he's good...

                Remember that the '78 was the world's first 11-second-in-the-quarter production bike, so it is a milestone bike....

                That it got overshadowed by the CBX and GS1000 later can't take away from that, and it is arguably a better overall bike than either. Yamaha squandering it's legacy by detuning the later models didn't help either...
