    Hold it... what's that copper line under the carbs? Oil feed? to what? inquiring minds want to know...

      That feeds the sending unit for the digital pressure gauge in the dash. The sending unit is a bit big so I stashed it back by the case vent tube, plus it's away from the heat. It's that copper/gold colored thing under the pod filter. The sensor for the temp gauge is in the pan where the old oil level switch was.

        I had the same issue with my analog pressure gauge, so i tucked the sender between the frame rails above the carbs. Damned things are gigantic.

          yep...the pod filters i didnt look closely as they are hidden mostly by the side covers...saw the velocity stacks but honestly didnt know what they were...also missed the plumbing for the pressure gauge thing...

            I've done so much to this bike that I have a hard time remembering it all myself. Or is that just my mind going...

              Don't know about you but I've had trouble remembering what I went to the garage for since I stated working on bikes when I was 8. Still have to go back to what I was doing and remember on my way back to the garage what the heck I was after. But that was only 52 years and so many cars and bikes ago.
