Thanks for the advice guys. I haven't done anything and ignore except for today when i answered a call from someone i thought may be a co worker. Instead it was a babbling lady being brandy the guys mom. She said she was in law enforcement and i didn't want to be helpful then she would have to go about this by other means. So i went off!!!

Explaining to her that i didn't care of her status and that i had already told her son that get the people that i did the transaction with to get the title and i would give them the title. And we would do it at a dmv here in Hampton. So she goes tolling for info on who i did the transaction with. I told her it was none of her business and just give me those peoples info and i would contact them and settle this. She said that she didn't have it.i told her that if her son had been dating her two years like she said the wouldn't she have there info? And if he was at Disney land then why can't he call and get the info? No phones allowed in Disney land? And hung up on her. Im too busy for the rest of the week to do anything with this.

      Wow Charles, that's crazy!
You know, last week, I looked up that CL ad and I googled that phone number he listed and it came up with a lot of different hits from engine maintenance to driftwood sales.
This guy seems to be into a lot of different stuff. Maybe most of it legit, but still a lot, kinda like he's not a regular 9 to 5 type guy.

You got at least 3 of us XSives right here local for you if you need ANYTHING.
      I mean ANYTHING.

At this point, my personal BS meter would be pegged. Got her number? I'd definitely go back and talk to the cops, and give them her number... Real LEOs generally don't like people who try to use the police for shady deals....

          Update:

Well after being to busy to take any action on this the guy contacted me the other day. He crashed the bike and was no longer interested in the bike. Long story short the bike is back in my possession. Not in the condition that it was when it left in but still savable. I need to finish a few projects first like the 11 but pics to come tomorrow.

Life takes some funny turns indeed. Sorry it came back in poor condition. So did he donate it or ask you to buy it.

I really suggest you contact local police office with as much information as you have on the bike and get them to check and see if there is any issue such as it was involed in a hit and run or robbery etc etc. You need to check at DMV and see who has a clear title on it now also. It can get real complicated as a few have told you.

Just my suggestion when it sounds funny or feels funny it might be.
To fix the problem one should not make more assumptions than the minimum needed.
