+1 on both the fairing and the bags. Have 'em both and would be lost without either. Hard bags are handy. When I got my bike I could get $50 worth of groceries in my side bags. Now I can get $50 worth of groceries in my top box. It isn't a huge box either. Can't deny the practicality of the high back seat, but I like the looks of the flatter ones. I think you'll like the bags & trunk combo. It isn't a one-way trip if you change your mine.

It's amazing that fiberglass will shrink like that isn't it?

Looks good, especially for the trips you take. You've seen my sersion of hardbags, probably not up to the task for you!
Somebody said the seat was "too Easyrider", that's perfectly fine with me. That was one of the coolest bikes of all time. But I also like the HD in Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man.

Greg, when they get in, how about a product review.
Those of us that are watching, would like to know if they're worth the price.

My SG needs some bags and I' don't feel like swapping over my shoei bags from my G. They are a little ratty looking.

Have a Vetter fairing as well, and when it gets to about 20 something degrees with a 35-45 mph wind, that thing is well worth it.

That's not too bad a price to have something 'new & shiny' hanging on my bike.
My Shoei's look like they are 30years old.

+1 on what Okie said about the fairings.
Twice now, I've ridden each of my bikes without one and sure it's nice just around town, but on the highway, I got to have it!

Ok, I got the bags today and they are pretty much what I expected. They are small but not bad looking. I used something we can all relate to for size comparison.

My old buddy Bob Falter says that bags aren't worth a $hit unless they will hold a 30 pack. Well Bob wouldn't think these were up to par because a 30 won't fit but I'm fairly certain I can get an 18 pack in there.

I removed one of the lenses to see what's up in there. It only has one small 194 bulb in there but as you can see there's plenty of room to make a larger hole and put a dual filament socket in. That's what I'll be doing because I want to run them as tail, brake, and turn signals.

The brackets that came with them are pretty basic so some McGiver skills will be needed.

All in all not a real bad deal for $70 shipped.

I'll post more as things progress.

They look pretty good for the price. It would be interesting to see the bracketry and any mods you have to do to get them to fit. A what to do or not do for the next guy with plenty of pics idea.
