GM 4L60E gurus?

    GM 4L60E gurus?

    Anybody know about these trans? My LT1/4L60E swap in my Jag is not shifting right, I've checked all the electrical connections and the ATF level...

    It will shift from first to second but only at upper RPMs, freewheels when it hits third, and has no engine braking. Trans is a '94 version AFIAK...

              If you aren't flagging any trans related DTCs, then it is likely a clutch issue. Does the speedo work? Do you have a scan tool? If so, with key on engine off, using trans output controls, turn on and off the shift solenoids while stethescoping the rear of the pan, you should hear a definite click as you command each one on. This will at least let you know the controller can operate the trans.
