81 xs 11 put on a diet

I cleaned the carbs real good and got them back on last friday. The xs will start right up and idle and rev just like it is supposed to now. Brand new battery on it. Now I'm going through the brake system. The front brakes are sticking. (more than likely crud under the o ring seal than keeps fluid in the caliper). Going slow for now I got to ride a really nice xs1100. That ride made me pull mine out of the corner and start on it again. That 1100 was amazing I hope mine is comparable.

Sounds good Justin - also the brakes can hang up on a dirty slide - I have just pulled and cleaned the slide pin and fixed sticky brakes in the past, but they will likely benefit from a full clean.

Yea I cleaned the slides and pins and both fronts and slides on the rear. Rear master cylinder needs a kit or replaced it its leaking in places it shouldn't. I wound up getting the xs11 that I rode the other day by doing some trading. So now I own 2 xs11's 1 ready to go anywhere and looks real nice the other still needs lots of work.
