    Agreed, the only parts that need be 32 years old are the metal casing parts of the petcocks, all the other parts can be replaced with new as part of a rebuild of them, leaving you with in essence new petcocks, and if you smooth the back surface of the lever as outlined in the tech tips, that solves one of the things that wears out the rubber ring in there so quickly, and you can so easily add a positive off by simply removing the stop on standards, which is nice to have, even though I only use it when I remove the tank, the rest of the time I just let the vacuum function do it's job.

      I'm using 32 yr old part's because, they still work good.. I shut off the petcocks just for insurance.
