Wow, what a morning I just had. The only thing that could have made it worse, would be if it had been raining.
So, I wake up late and find out that the tunnel I normaly take to work is backed up, so I decide to take the other tunnel this morning.
So across town I go, just one exit before the other tunnel, my bike gets squirrely in the back. Great, Flat tire.
I just put this sucker on 2 months ago. It's still got most of the knobies on the sides still.
Lucky me, there's a super wally world just off the off ramp.
So, I go in and get a can of fix a flat. ($5)
Put the can of goop in and it pisses continuously out the hole.
So, I go back in and get a plug kit. (another $4)
Wrestle with the bike for 20 mins, because it wants to roll as I'm trying to force the plug in.
Whew, get that done, so now how about some air.
I very slowly ride it around the corner of wally to the auto center to get some air, and wouldn't you know it, the tire comes off the bead!
At least the guys at the service center are nice enough to get the really long extentsion cord/hose and fill up the tire.
Overall, it took me almost 3 hours to get to work for a 30 mile trip.
