Absolutely right T99. These scoots are NOT like my newer ST or any newer twin-spar frame configuration........no warning if handling turns ugly, specially the Standard!

That doesn't match my manual at all, or the fact that standards have a 17 inch rear vs the 16 on the special. My manual shows a metric for the rear on the special, while showing non-metric for all the other tires (front for both and rear for standards).

Don't know what to tell ya Cy, but that was right out of the ORIGINAL riders owner's manual that came with my bike when new.

I tested mine with the GPS at 85 and it was 5 mph fast there also. I haven't checked at higher speeds 'cause I don't wanna take my eyes off the road at 3 digits.
Yep above 50 mine was 4 to 5 mph all day today according to my Garmin

According to the cross chart they are same... but I know that not 2 tires are the same. if you measured the roll out on 2 of the same tire you can be off by inches.

My SF calls for 3.50H19 front and 130/90/16 rear... its right in the factory Yamaha owner's manual
