        • I am all for stealth camping. I have camped along the tracks all my life, just keep it small, most people won't notice.I haven't paid to camp in 30 years.
I thought about this as a buddy of mine is coming up from FL on his way to Sturgis and will at be staying at a KOA in Batesville IN,he has gone about 160 miles out of his way to come see me..geeeze..I have sat on a curb in a rest area and slept and even on the bike. Now days.....arrested and throwen in jail as a vagrant.

            • Wow CZ..didn't know there was an"official " name and a ##it load of rules to pull off the road and spend the night in the forest.Daniel Boone musta had a hard time to spend his nights.I believe in the leave no trace theory but soo many people don't.
Cousin worked for the BLM in CA and OR and the park service in AZ..she had stories about the trash people left behind which I find disgusting.
Well I shouldn't be surprised as people throw their Micky d's bags out the window along the street, get to the exit ramp on the interstate and empty their ashtrays.
Sorry, getting on a rant hereJust hit a sore spot with me.
JW..that is how to do it but now days I would I prefere in the woods so I am not seen or heard.

                    • Thanks, Bill, that moon'll give me something else to look at this weekend besides engine parts and clearances! Maybe I can work outside at night when it's cool too.
