      • I have a orange tiger rescue we picked him from a strays litter. Funny , he did not think twice about me until he got sick. I nursed him back to health and now he's glued to me. He purrs and rubs on my legs and gets under foot to the point of me stepping on his toes (he likes to step on mine) or tripping me by getting between my legs on the stairs (not good) 12 yrs. now.
Also a stray mix described as a cattle dog, sweet to an extreme got her at 1 1/2 and shes going on 12.
Some leave paw prints on our hearts others we care for and they could care less.

        • Grand Trunk Rail adventure

When I was about 14 a neighbor (to go unnamed) was a railroad engineer for Grand Trunk out of Pontiac Michigan. He invited me to ride along in the locomotive for a night run to Port Huron MI. About half way to Port Huron he instructed me on the controls and then he said "Take over , I going out for a nap". 60 cars and 2 diesel locomotives under the command of a 14 year old , what a rush. I ran the stick up and down a few times blew the whistle at crossings and gave back the controls after about 20 minutes. Not many can claim a ride like that. The coolest part of the ride was walking outside the cabin on to the sideboards in the dark while at about 60 mph. Crapola, that was cool especially when the train flushed out a few pheasants and deer.

                • Just because I got a hair cut today in a real barber shop I took some pictures, this is not one of those quickie shops where a young girl with a cute arse sweeps up after you are finished. This is from the 50's area,it has six chairs and ash trays in each arm.So I thought I would make my photo b&w.I have both, same picture in color but the b&w makes it.

                  • I get my hair cut from an old barber shop like that... from a young woman with a cute arse that sweeps up when she gets a break.. which isn't often. lol. Used to go to her old uncle, who taught her, (Shaving cream and straight razor) and now he's retired and she bought the place. Now she's taught her daughter and she's paying her way through college doing it.

                              • Cards are almost maxxed out (daughter in last year at BU) so you'd prob'ly only get as far as Pikksburgh But, as the only way I was able to see a concert in my pre-employment years, as an usher, that paid $8.00 a show, one could work the line and get paid to see the world

Every time I hear a train this comes to mind:
