Been on here for awhile I've just been lurking and finding ideas for my project. Here she is all 300 dollars of her. The plan is a cafe racer. After I go through all the wiring and rip off what I don't want or need. Let me know what y'all think.

Sorry forgot to put what's going on in the pictures.
The first one is what the rotors lookethd like right after I drilled them on the mill and dividing head.
The second is what it looked like when I first bought it.
The next one os me cutting new brake caliper pistons on the lathe.
Then it's the rotors on the bike and last but not least what she looks like now.

Careful with the wiring. There really is not much that can be removed because of all the bramches and whatnot.Nathan

I noticed
The new front tire is not mounted correctly. The little white dot on the sidewall is supposed to be mounted next to the valvestem. That makes it easier to balance as that is the lightest part of the tire so the valvestem can compensate for the lighter part of the tire. You can't stay young forever, but you can be immature for the rest of your life...

I have a friend that owns a industrial balance shop and I have done work there while he was in the hospital. His machines will balance parts from 1/2 lb to 6000 lb to less than one gram. I know for sure that the balance machines in the tire shops are not very reliable and they don't do true dynamic balancing either. There is no way to calibrate them either. Next time you have a tire mounted and balanced, after the balance have the guy take it off, rotate it 180 degrees and run it again and I bet it will show that it needs balancing again. That tells you the balance machine is wrong.

I think it's only like an inch or two off the valve stem but I'll check tomorrow. But it'll probably be taken off a few more times when I powder coat the rims again the rear one is scuffed in a few spots. I just wanted to get it back on it's own tires again for mock up. But I did get some more work done on it today. I used the old highway bars to clean up. I know some of you night not approve of me cutting and welding a perfectly good set but it was cheap, they were banged up really bad and I didn't have to run to the metal shop. Anyways this is about what it's going to look like.
Oh and to answer your question about the vending machine I never have any change for that thing. Actually only the bottom row is candy the rest is cut off wheels flapper disc and the sort. Sorry not sure if I mentioned this but I go to school at the hot rod institute and am in motorcycle fabrication class right now. I decided I would use my g.i. bill there
