So after all this time and all the effort I've given them they stabbed me in the back, such lovely people.
I know just how you feel Cy, the exact same thing happed to me April last year. Was off work recovering from surgery, doing work from home (pc based), and when I returned to the office I got told the same thing. Bsatards. Old boss still cant look me in the eye. Chin up mate, every cloud is silver lined. For me it was 3 months out of work before I got another job, and while it's a little less money, it's a better job and i'm happier than i've been for years.

Hang in there, things will get better.

When it rains it poors. Life has a way of taking note when your down and kicking you squarely in the sack just to make up for it, kind of like the old joke of hitting your finger with a hammer so you forget about the headache you had.

As to the job, well, most likely a gift anyway. Sounds like they did not appreciate what you were doing for them to start with. May as well find a new place that will, and as Brian said, even for less money you come out WAY ahead when you feel good about what your doing and who your doing it for.
Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

It appears "Murphy" has taken a liking to you. I hope you can break that relationship! Best wishes for a better tomorrow.

              Whoah! Glad you're alright, Cy!

You'll get another, better, job so don't sweat the petty stuff like scratched metal. That can all be replaced!
