Nice job on the lift, Willy. Your garage looks a lot like mine. I just got to get it cleaned out. I need to build another one for storage. I have a total of six motorcycles, a snow mobile, a lot of extra parts, and a lot of shop equipment. Another building is my only hope. For a lift, I have a wood shipping crate with casters under it, and two come-alongs with hooks in the ceiling to lift a bike to the crate. I have to store a lot of things outside under a tarp so I can park either my car or truck in the garage at night. Nice job. Rover

                        Work Table

Instead of sending out the plans over and over why don't you put it in the service section so that anyone who is interested can access it.

                          you know
i have an ethical question here
you all saw the web site at the beginning of this thread

these are not my plans, yes i drew them
                          but
after studing the pictures on the other web site
technically i didn't steal the plans
I just looked at the picture, then copied the design

if you guys think its ok
I will put them out in the service section of this site
( someone will have to tell me how)

                          thanks

That is a VERY good idea, but two things not so good about it. 1st, I can't seem to find a service section listed, and 2nd, my isp does not have a place to store my photos in. I have tried several times to get them from my files and post them, but that does not work. Also, maybe you were talking to XSWILLY, and not Rover. We both have been sending out plans for bike lifts. So, if you can inform me how I can get these plans into the "Service Section", I would be happy to do so.Thank you for your suggestion, Rover

                              About the plans....
Technically you got ideas from an existing plan, made it better and drew it up yourself. Thats what Japs are famous for. Nothing really wrong with it at all. It's though this process that things are made better.
Benchmarking is good for everything but stagnation.

                                Lift Table Solution

I have never figured out how to post things either "BUT"!
I bet if you forwarded the plans to a moderator; EG. Ken Talbot, Mike Hart, Gary Granger, all of these people know the right buttons to push and would likely be glad to get them posted.
                                Just an idea.
