well i know its not ethical
but I didn't buy the plans

what i did is make a full size version out of 1x3 strapping (wood)
to get all my measurements down

      i finished that this weekend

so now i'm going to order some steel this week
when i get it all done
      i'll post some picts

Add a pull out panel at the back of the deck so that you can remove the floor below your rear tire if the bike is on the center stand.

Makes wheel removal much easier, and you can back the bike on, and center-stand it, then block the front up, drop the panel and remove the front wheel too.

I bought one of those motorcycle jack, roll it under any bike and lift it. Problem is that it hits the exhaust on every bike I own except my dirt bike. You need blocks of wood as spacers to raise anything level.
Now adapting it to something like this would make the jack practical. Looks like I'm making a trip to the steel yard.

I have the regular motorcycle jack also. Like you say, it needs blocks/such to lift just about any bike.

I simply made a steel adapter that custom fit my bike. Very handy to be able to have the bike a foot in the air AND both wheels hanging free.

That is the disadvangate to the table jack...unless you adapt the tale to fold or pull out from under the rear wheel, you cannot work on the wheels or suspension...which is most of what I ever jack a bike up for...

How about adding a second MINI lift in the center of the table(or make it removable) and be able to lift the bike 4 ft off the ground and then lift the bike 2 inches off the platform.....

Here is the bench I use daily at work. It has served me well for eight years now and I think I would be lost without it. Mine is the pneumatic model with 12’ side extensions. The nice thing about the side extensions is how easy they pop off if you need to be closer to what your working on, but to be honest even when I’m working on a bike I leave them on just for the extra bench space to set my tools or test equipment.

                        table lift

Check out the fall issue of Choppersunderground. They have plans with dimensions and everything in the mag. It looks to me to be a bit of overkill, but you can get the general idea and dimensions and tweak it a bit. I think you can find the mag at choopersunderground.com and download the info. If not, I will be happy to scan and email it to you.

Hi, Willy, I scanned the article on the bike lift, but the forum rules on this page says I can not send attachments. Want me to email to you? I tried your home page but that did not work. I tried everything to send photos and documents to the forum, but nothing works. If you want, you can email me at rovjer@tds.net, give me your address, and I will send you the four page article.
