That has actually happened to me in a front drive car. Raining hard, going straight on the e-way doing 55mph (speed limit at the time), the back end shot out from under and came around without warning. Totalled the car
The back tires were worn about out and I had the good ones on the front.
Ever since then I keep my tires rotated and replace them 4 at a time.
