Hi, Check his website (listed in the auction) this is the business he's in and they sure look like they do a nice job. They are on Ebay for the cheap exposure but he needs to market differently ($1000 start with reserve?). Just throw $3995.00 (or whatever) buy it now with "best offer" option on it and he'll move some cycles.Current Daily Rides / Projects

Ooh, nice!
the new exhausts must be MACs because they are the only game in town these days? Ah, well.
Coulda gone the extra step and fitted s/st brake lines?
Lilac ain't a colour I'd pick but what do I know?
But these are trivial items, eh?
Let's say you could pick one up for ~$5,000. What bike could you buy new for $5,000 that'd look even half as good, go even half as well and last even half as long?

Wow, great looking bikes! Amazing work. I hope Ole makes a lot of money on them. We need to preserve as many of these old muscle bikes as we can.2016 Yamaha FJR1300A

If you "restore" one of these bikes, I wonder what you need to get out of it to make it worthwhile? When I think about how much I've spent, just in repairs, it adds up quick! Bob Jones' bikes had high price tags, but I don't think they were out of line, based on what I believe went into them.Marty (in Mississippi)

As has been said many times. No one restores or works on these machines as a money making venture, at least not from the labor standpoint. You can get one and put money into the parts to fix it up new and maybe make some money on that. But I doubt anyone would ever pay the money for the labor cost. You have to enjoy the work and do it for love of the machine IMO.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

For the most part I agree that it is difficult to get more than enjoyment from bringing back one of these bikes.
I have read about what Bob Jones did to these bikes and what he asked for them.
Does anyone know if he sold any and for what prices?
Given what 3k gets you today for a bike, you would think a bike like this one would not be that hard to sell for around that price.
