spare key needed

    Here in Idaho... the locksmith I dealt with would not make a key unless I brought the bike to his shop.

      Divergent question

      My '80 G key works in the ignition and helmet lock no matter how it is inserted. It will only work one way in the gas cap! Any clue to what my (albeit minor) problem is?

        IIRC, I seem to remember the locksmith saying something about Suzuki using the same blank. Just in case the Yamaha ones aren't available.
