      There should be quite a few parts still good; the cams/shims, clutch, starter drive, shift mechanism, and of course the external stuff. If the 'new' motor you get is a later '80-81, the early cams/ignition would be a nice power upgrade if installed.

      If you strip the cases, head, and cylinders, they're probably worth $20-30 as scrap aluminum, so that can offset the costs a bit..
