Anybody ever used a Bluetooth ODB II code reader. I am looking around at some and just looking for suggestions. Thanks

I can't understand why you would want one! The OBD code reader is just that, it reads the error codes from the computer, and gives them to you. I LIKE being able to print the codes, and not have to worry about "was that 1404 or 4104?".
Just me, and my "old" way of using computers.

Yes but I am talking about the readers the connect to a laptop and gives realtime info from sensors as well as the troublecodes. If I just want to know a code I can use the one at a parts shop for free for a minute.

I know there used to be some serial port connected ones. I'm sure their still out there (it's just a cable and some software) and there may be USB ones out there now, either that or the serial ones may work with a USB to serial adapter.

The ONLY reason you would NEED something like that is if you are trying to find as problem with a car that does NOT show up all the time. For me, a hole too throw money in. I just put some of my money down on a "new" ride, thank you.
If you ARE trying to find a problem with your car, then it may work for you.
Not trying to be too snippy, just can't seem to understand the need for the product. OBD-2 and CAN products are for troubleshooting problems. If you have no problems, why bother??

My cousin is a auto tech and I asked him about your question. Your better off to get the with the cable and software that you can connect to your laptop. Cheaper than the BT ones and you dont have to worry about losing sync in the middle of your diagnostics.
