custom exhaust
Custom fabbed it myself. The trumpets some PO had hacked onto it before were bent, dented, scratched, and acid etched(no drain tube on the battery), and didn't fit right to start with.
After I cut them off, I took two lengths (about 14") of 1-1/4" stainless tubing, cross drillied 14 3/8" holes through each one, welded one end shut, and welded them to the OE collecters. (this I did for backpressure)
Then I welded the two chrome tailpipes over the baffles from the back and under sides so the welds don't show, and filled the remaining gap with muffler weld. Sounds wicked awesome and I kept my low end power with the baffles.'78 E "Stormbringer"

yeah, looks good. The dash closeup seems to show a digital clock where the key used to be.
