  • '81 Yamaha Sales Brochure

    If anyone is interested, I just acquired a digital copy of the '81 Yamaha sales brochure. It has pictures of all the bikes in production that year (though I think it was only the US models). It's a big, fold-out poster the size of 4 pages. I figure it might help identifying misc. bikes...

        neat Bug. But no 850LH???? I have 1 in the garage.

        Original except:
        120 mains outer cylinders - 125 mains inner cylinders - Ceramic headers - Powder coated pipes, covers calipers, and MC's
        4 pods - Air box gutted--E3 Plugs - High Back seat - Grooved out swing arm - SS brake lines
        Fork brace - 160 speedo - Auto CCT
        All gold paint and chrome replaced with GOLD plate

          Hi Jmnjrpa,
          Nothe the very bottom of page. This is a Canada brochure and we know not all models available on both sides of the border in any given year.

            Very cool brochure, good find, but I have to ask, Why is the 79SF shown in 80SG livery?
            1980 SG. (Sold - waiting on replacement)
            2000 XJR1300. The Real modern XS11. Others are just pretenders.

            Woman (well, my wife anyway) are always on Transmit and never Receive.

              the writings small but hopefully its readable.

                Huh?? None of the bikes pictured are '79s or '80s. They are all '81 models.
