What the Hell!!! Is there someting in the water back there???

Glad to hear you are mostly mobile and SURVIVED!

Take it easy. Get that wrist looked at ASAP. Did my left wrist in in a car wreck and had the External Fixation set-up and that sucked big time.

Be sure to go to a orthopedic surgeon that just does hands. AND ask around. I wound up with a bad job and can dislocate the small bones in my wrist just by rubbing it.

      Get it done right.

      Mend quick bud.

Dang Tod, that's a helluva thing!
Sorry about the bike, sounds like you rounded off all the corners on it.

Damn, Tod...it's getting to be that we should crack any jokes around here just to save all the folks with injured ribs from any unneeded pain.

Hope your wrist isn't too bad along with the other body parts that were injured.

Just glad to hear you are basically OK after that tumble.

With all the stories of bikes going down and others getting mowed over, I'm almost afraid to get on my bikes this yea. Almost. Still gonna do it, just gonna have to make sure the spidey-sense is on at least yellow alert.

Glad to hear you are still on the right side of the grass. Mend up yourself, mend up the wheels and keep on going.

Tod!!!! Dang it, man... I go outta town for a couple a days... come back... to THIS!!! This crap's gettin' old, guys! 2 in one week..... gee!

Man! Sorry to hear that. Let me know when and where the rebuild happens, and I'm there. Whatever I can do to help.

Glad you're still in one piece, and didn't have a repeat of Don's mishap... not cool AT ALL leavin' pieces of leg at the scene... sounds like it woulda happened, too! Guardrails just suck!

Can't believe that happened to your front tire! Teach you to let that bike hear you say those kinds of things... see what she does? There are easier ways of replacing tires ya know...

Take it easy... glad you're alive... and you know I'm in on getting your bike back on the road when you're up & around.

                            Heal fast, Buddy!

                                Hey Tod,

Sorry to hear of your mishap! Glad Ivan didn't have a PTSD flashback!

Just shows how bad things happen to good people! Get well soon, hope your wrist is just sprained and not broken. At least you won't have to shoot your XS/XJ11, just fix it up a bit.

But something about this sounds familiar....a quote from the beginning of the 2010 Bob Jones Rally thread!!!

The Bob Jones rally is kind of up in the air. We were having a good turn-out, and it was so nice getting to see Bob's wife Karla, but when you get a bunch of riders, you invariably get some of them that aren't very skilled on either the types of roads we ride there, or aren't good with riding in a group. Those roads aren't for the new or mostly flatland rider, and many of us saw too many crash courses in learning last year. The roads there are for the advanced rider.. some of the best in the country for twisties.. and it's absolutely no time for amateur hour.
Just a little "ribbing" since you're already in a bit of pain.
