I have to put Ivan in here. He's a great all-around guy, always has time to tinker with something and never asks for anything in return for helping me with my stuff.1980 XS11SG

Mo, now that I can post again:
Trainz (R.I.P.), Trbig and everyone else that came to the rescue and provided help and support when a teenager with a mobile phone tried to launch Ivan into orbit. That was a great job by excellent people!
Regards,

In my own experiences with my XJ...I give Kudos to Randy who came to my home twice. 1st time was to help with the tranny fix and the 2nd time was for electrical issues which he found in the 1st 5 mins. of arriving. Also huge Kudos to TC! He welcomed me into his home back in Aug '08 where we worked on the tranny ...carbs and wiring up a harness for the Windjammer that also was installed. 3 days in the sweltering summer heat in his garage I also want to acknowledge Paul aka Blue Giant who gave me some parts and asked for nothing in return...Plus all those XSives that helped me last year at XSEast when my exhaust fell off onto the road...Phil...Brent...Gary...TYVM guys..This is what makes this group so special to me. Oh jeez i almost forgot Jim aka ossjughead who did repaint my engine and shined up all the dull metal...He and lori welcomed me on 2 occaisons...staying in their home in Ontario!
Without their help the old bike would be a basket case today!Last edited by madmax-im; 03-12-2010, 02:43 PM.1980 XS650G Special-Two

Mo,
you also are worthy of mention in this the "Good Guys" thread. you took the time to send me a PM and ask me if everything was ok for no reason other than you noticed I have been absent from the forum as of late. That in and of itself was pretty cool, but even more so is the fact that you don't know me from Adam. It is a testament to your character and your compassion for your fellow biker. YOU are one of the "Good Guys" have a nice day and ride safeI am the Lorax, I speak for the Trees
