          cold weather coming though

It wasnt 78 in Escondido, it hit a high here of 82. But, it is cooling way down to a freezing 71 tomorrow. Yes, a beautiful week here in So Cal. Bikes everywhere, women in bikinis on the beach, the Chargers rock the NFL, but back to work on Monday. I guess somewhere it could better but where????? Mike in Sun Diego

Its 40* here and theres snow on the ground. But my Jeep hasnt been able to start for a while now and the only transportation Ive got is my FZR right now. Lets just say superbike tires are NOT good on snow.

Was out and about today getting groceries and stuff, the temp on the Mazda's rearview said 17ºF. Saw a guy on his new bolt-a-chrome "chopper" (I am thinking it was a Victory) with blue jeans and a hoodie and some really cool looking bugeye glasses. He pulled on the main street, hammered it for about 1/2 a second, then slowed back down to about 15 mph. I am guessing he wasn't aware that wind chill works when its you moving instead of the wind.

I was out and about shopping as well. The difference is that the temp was around 55 with the sun peeking out every once in a while. I was also out on the bike doing the shopping. I'm really enjoying being in california right now, even if it's the northern part and a little colder than the guys down south are getting it right now.
