I'm thankful for my family who have learned to understand my passion for my bikes. I am also thankful for my dogs who have not yet tried to eat my bikes.

        Phil's good eatin'

For some reason, my dog would love to eat Maximphil. He has to hide in the shop to avoid her. She has the same reaction to squirrels. Kind of makes you wonder... The other white meat I guess.

I am thankful for my family, and a wife that understands my desire to ride. I am also thankful for this forum, and the people i have met, and will meet. I hope all of you eat enough, so you have to have stiffer shocks.

Thanksgiving, New Years, and Halloween are the only holidays I care for, and unfortunately, I will be spending it alone this year since all my family is 1200-2000mi away and the front axle is about to fall out of my jeep(and there is no way I am riding my high strung FZR 1200 mi through kansas and missouri this time of year, hell any time of year. Id need new tires as soon as i got there). So it will just be me and the XS this thanksgiving(its set up in the kitchen. thats my worksapce. Hey im single, I can get away with it). I am very thankful we have had a snap of nice weater after the 3 feet of snow we got a few weeks ago. I didnt have a running bike all year until October, so I am thankful I got some good riding in, and even had a few trips to the mountains in there. Usually, holidays to me are just any other day. I am sad that I will miss the family dinner. My grandmother is the best cook I know and Im afraid I may not have too many more holidays with my grandparents.

I am thankful for most everything in my life, spouse, kids, grandkids, XS11, VS1400, and a whole lot of stuff I left out. ONE thing I am not thankful for is that while all of you cats here in the states will be consuming vast amounts of turkey and such, I will be languishing around a hotel in Bokaro Steel City, India.
my home for a couple weeks (leaving this week) will look alot (by that I mean exactly) like this:

it's an ok hotel, but it is 10,000 miles from home and I'm just not feeling the love. I don't mind traveling for work, I don't mind traveling internationally, I don't even mind traveling on a holiday, but all three at the same time is a bit much. hopefully I'll be able to get stuff fixed fairly quickly and be able to come home before all the leftovers are gone
have a nice day and ride safe
