    I'd write a letter if I thought it would help bring the XJR1300 to the US...

        You think as I do...its no secret that Yamaha has had this bike out in other parts of the world but not N.America...I'd buy one in a New York minute ! Especially if it looks like this one...

            Mean bit of gear

            Those have been available down here for years I have a 98 XJR 1200, pod filters, jetted, free flowing pipes, progressive springs and wearing Metzeler 880's, goes well. Can not get near the fuel injected 1300's, they are in a different class.

                FUEL INJECTED 1300's!!Now I know I have to have one.

                      Didn't you lot even get the XJR 1200's Those make the 11's look primitive. I know you got FJ 1100's, did you get FJ 1200's ? You poor deprived souls

                          Chocolates and Flowers

                          Combined with a lot of grovelling might do the trick One thing to check is the gearbox, something like 3/10 down here have been whopped and develop the 2nd / 3rd gear issue. Apart from that, more torque than an 11 ever dreamed of and handle like on rails compared to XS's
