Had all 6 of them stolen. Just never looked back.
Every now and then I surprise my kids or nephews that are begining to play.
I played classic rock (I hate that term, makes me feel old) and hard rock. Was in many bands. They would talk of touring or making an album (remember albums?) and I would move on. Didn't want something I enjoyed turn into work.

I had a 1956 Fender Telecaster stolen from me. That guitar was in mint condition and is worth a fortune now.

Played the trumpet and baritone in high school and college. Mess around with the guitar but have never taken the time to really learn to play well.

My first guitar was an early 60's Harmony hollow body, aparently they are worth a lot now. I found that out years after selling it.

My last one was one of the last Fender Bullets made in the USA, when they were still serial numbered. It has the slim neck, and my friends still keep track of where it is at any given moment. I sold it to our lead singer, who later gave it (sold it?) to the kid of a mutual freind, and it is still being used.

Now I have my brother's Ibanez, which he got halfway through painting 1970 Chrysler Panther Pink. I've had it for about 10 years now...
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

            Guitar here also.

Had a 75 Les Paul, 76 Electra MPC, 72 Gibson SG, 75 Strat.

Fender twin, old Harmony and Sun amps, Ampeg amps, Never owned but played with a HOT Marshall 100w stack, 2 4-12 cabs nice.

Played in a small band just out of highschool. typical stuff of the days, sabbath, kiss, thin lizzy, outlaws, led zeppelin, lynyrd skynyrd, and later stuff playing around at home like ozzy (loved randy rhodes style) van halen, metallica........to me the heavier the louder the better LOL.

But nothing presently, you know how time and other priorities come into play.

Albums are still albums, regardless of what media they are recorded on. The term simply applies to a group of songs sold together under one named collection. I have this debate with SWMBO every now and then...
