I put some seafoam in the first tank and ran it that way. The stumble mostly went away quickly but it was still somewhat sluggish at low rpm.

Today (after about 165 total miles) the idle finally came up to about 1800. I stopped and adjusted it back down. This thing friggin flies. Wow what a difference. The seafoam did it's job nicely. I am guessing that the pilots were somewhat fouled and they are finally cleaned up. Pulls strong from idle to redline now. I will probably still get around to pulling the carbs and cleaning them, but I don't know if it is really necessary now. I love seafoam.

Possibly, but I still have the Midnight Special so I am not without.
