The Bobber is on the Road!

Finally, after 226 days my XS11 Bobber is on the Road. And now I understand why you guys do it, can't really say I understand how, but for sure why! Everybody here was so helpful and wow what a ride the XS1100 so smooth even with a hard tail, the only thing better then the ride was the help I received here. Once again thanks to everyone that took the time to answer my questions and a special thanks to 81XSproject the Carbs are amazing!
I just can't say thanks enough, so thanks again!

But I've always wanted a muddy racing stripe on my back ,
no just kidding. I'm looking into a short fender idea or a rain suit.

My fender is even a little further forward than Axel's and so I get a racing stripe too. And before Tod says anything, it was a new tire and that is an old picture. All the "feelers", to put it PG-13 terms, are gone now.

That's one racing stripe that might actually make you go faster, (to get home out of the rain) so its sporty and practical!

Hey shop, how tall/big of a guy are you?? I really like the bobber, but I'm a big guy and would hate to build a bitchen' bike that was too uncomfortable for me.

6 foot about 195lbs, the key is before the seat is mounted to sit on it around a hundred times so you know where it will be the most comfortable for you.

Cool, do you think forward controls would work on a bobber??? Or even 'fit' on a bobber as far as asthetics go??

aesthetics yes, but for mine they would be little uncomfortable, so depending on how you do the seat it's doable, I'm looking at doing a suicide shifter right now.
