      Congratulations on the acheivement!!!!!!

My oldest graduates high school next Friday (I just graduated ......... wait, that was 32 years ago )
He is very smart but just barely made it. Very frustrating when you get a report card that reads 2 A's (band and computer) and 5 F's (everything else).

      3 more kids to go.

Since one of my daughters is a LEO. I am looking for a bumper sticker that says "My daughter can arrest your honor student". The other daughter is in the army (2nd hitch) serving as a armorer for crew served weapons. My wife has more attitude than both the other girls.. Trust me, the boys walk light in this family.

          Hi Don,
kudos to your boy for his prompt and skillful action. I do hope the dyslexic person who wrote "taunt" instead of "taut" on his notification don't cut an order to send your boy up the wrong beach some day.

That sounds like the report card I got in high school. The good news is that after 6 years I finally decided to go to college and I'm doing pretty good now.

The lastest accomplishments my children have made is with my oldest. He's 2 1/2 and is now forming full sentences. The next big move is potty training.

Congrats on the award Kat. That's an incredible honor. Math is the best second language IMO. I speak it very fluently as well.

We're going through the same thing with our daughters... very intelligent, but not very driven... and VERY frustrating.... Great kids... just not when it comes to school work (or getting it turned in, anyway)
I got a call from their math teacher yesterday morning... You know it probably isn't good when they call you first thing on a Saturday morning after school is out for the summer...

Luckily, I speak math fairly well still too... so we will be having summer school here at the house to prepare them for their Algebra class next year...

Thanks again for the kudos for Chase!
He's pretty embarrassed by it all... but that's okay....

Well, lemme tell ya (chest puffed out and feathers spread), Jessica got one of those also. She thought it wasn't a big deal and did not want to go to the awards event but I made her go anyway. Her last two years in HS were nuthin but AP classes. Didn't seem help as her choice of college didn't cut me any slack on tuition!!! There went my FJR money, and my Jetski money, and my fix up the truck money, my Crown Royal money and pretty much all the money I had and didn't have.

Give the boy a big "atta boy" from me. It IS a big deal. As for your girls, let em hang out with Tod for a while and threaten them with "you wanna grow up to be like that?" That oughta set em straight.

No doubt... when they find out he's coming to town... his riding partner gets all excited... the other one goes into mourning...
