An easier way for folks to work on this would be to browse through the long thread that traces the development of the concept and the extensive collaboration that went into it. You can jump to the part with the critical dimensions at about the end of page five here.
Be sure to go back to the start of the thread to get a good flavour of all the work that went into it, and how MRO actually made the major breakthroughKen Talbot

I built one of your carb float pin pushers a couple of years ago after seeing yours. I chucked my threaded pusher in a drill press and with a file, ground the tip smaller, about the size of the pin. I found a old plastic knob in one of my junk drawers( what? you only have ONE junk drawer? shame on you!) and epoxied it on the end to make it turn easier.

Not quite a tool but it's what I've been building lately.
Ran it for the first time yesterday. Got 4 litres of clean spirit at 87%.
Got lots of homemade tools as well. Will take some pics and post.1980 SG. (Sold - waiting on replacement)
2000 XJR1300. The Real modern XS11. Others are just pretenders.
