If you mean XS 1100, you can use any year carbs from 78-81, for sure, and I think you could use 82-85 XJ 1100 carbs too.
Just make sure you get all 4 of the same series.
Mikes XS sells BS34 carbs that are the same as ours, but they only use 2, so I assume they have carbs 1 and 4, or 1 and 2. Takes a bit of doing but they will will work.
There are many other makes of carbs that can be modified to fit, youcan use the search function to find some articles on these.
I got new emulsion tubes and needles for mine from Mike's XS as well.
Mine are off an 85 fj and they are sweet and pristine condition they slip right in the carb boots better than stock had to rig up a fuel T and I used an fj throttle cable and an ebay choke bar lever and it runs good
If you search around a little, a couple people have retrofitted carbs off completely different bikes.Maybe it was ZR1 carbs?I cant remember, but you should be able to search carb swap.

What other carbs can I use from Yamaha or other manufactures to fit on my 81 MS 1100??
Peter
Hi Peter,
as posted, several different carbs can be made to fit, some more easily than others.
There's even a list member installing a fuel injection system on his bike.
What I'd like to see is a 4-way inlet manifold with one horkin' great carb on the end of it.
No more frustrating attempts at balancing 4 carbs.

There us a guy on another forum that built and intake out of abs pipe for plumbing. It is on a Virago and he is using one carb.
It would be cool to build a manifold for an XS so you could use a progressive two barrel.
