ok, so my 1100 has been flawless for 2 years when i picked it up on the side of a barn for 300 bucks. Actually started right up without even having to do the carbs. but it only sat a little over a year.
since then, shes started up each and everytime right off the bat, even in the dead of winter below zero.
Last night i started it up and put her on choke when i got a call and had to step away from the bike, after a minute it stopped the high idle and dropped down to regular idle, i thought perhaps it was the computer telling it it's warmed up or something, thought this had happened before, but seldome am I ever not on the bike to take it out of choke myself ya know. Not sure if any of this sounds right or not, do we have anything that does that? is that suppose to happen, i could of swore that did that last year too at some point.
I ask, because i'm also going through a nasty divorce right now, and i've been away during the days remodeling my new place, Shes a bitch to say the least and i wouldnt put much past her. Tonight when i got home I was very excited to go riding as we got our first 80 degree day up here in NY, but to my avail, my bike wont start??? Last night when it had dropped down to idle, i turned it off as something else came up and didnt go out riding.
Now today i get nothing, it would put like it was firing on a single cylinder, cleaned all the plugs, ran for a second, then nothing again.
I'm convincing myself the bitch put sugar in my tank, as i always leave the key in the ignition anyways. But perhaps not as it did drop from high idle choke last night to regular idle by itself.
so.... is there anything like a computer or anything that would of takin it out of choke, or did something happen last night and i'm just realizing it today.....
also, a friend made a note that due to my no exhaust on one side, and improper backpressure, i could of bent a valve??? does that make any sense, rode all last season like that with no issues...
thanks.
