I will take pity on, well, everyone in north america and not go out in public in spandex shorts.
Don't be so hard on yourself... I could see Vincer really checking your butt out at the last get together. Do you think he was disappointed that he didn't share a room with you?

Tod... I am going to check my local Wally world..if I cant find it here do you think you could get me one?...OFC I will pay for it and shipping too...you got Paypal? Thing is I had my seat done by the guy in Fla. and its quite comfortable but when I wear my textile pants I feel like the seat has been armor-alled and I cannot keep my @$$ planted where I want it...I will be going up there this a.m. so I'll let you know
I've put the bicycle gel pad under the seat cover on two of my seats. The first was a black, stock cover and I cut the foam out for the gel pad. Works great on long rides, but the gel will HOLD ANY HEAT, including from sunlight on a black cover! I needed to get OFF the seat about every five minutes on the way home from work. My second seat is WHITE, and I do NOT have the "heat" problem. They are both VERY good for long rides, just need to keep a white rag over the black seat while parked!

Ray, if that's the 'loaner' seat I borrowed from you last year it's really comfortable; thinking about making one, too.

Scott

Ivan came over to the house last night and introduced himself. How good is it that a newbie finds another XS rider/wrencher in the middle of Kansas? He told me we couldn't get the seat here. So if you could PM me with your details, I could get one from you.

I have no idea how you managed to make that connection within your brain, but I applaud whatever cellular mutation just took place.
LMAO... That's four of them I need to pick up. Anybody else? I'll get a price figured out for it, the package, and shipping. I can't believe no other Walmarts carry them??
JMF.. where do I find the Walmart stock number? Just the little barcode thingie on the price ticket on the shelf?

I dunno how wide-spread Cabellas is, but this one looks an awful lot like the one on Tod's bike. It's $50 though.

Yep that is one and the same as what Tod posted, based upon my search of the internet. Appears there are any number of places to get one for $50, but only in Tod's Walmart will you find it for $18.

TRBIG I believe the number is the one with the bar code. With that number any walmart should be able to order it and it should be the same price. If you could get it for us I'll give it a try and let everybody know.
For those who faught for it, freedom has a flavor the protected will never taste.

Well.. I went to Walmart to pick up a few of them, and all they had left were two of them that had been returned and they looked like crap.
SO..... Is it still considered shoplifting if it's simply the TAG that you steal??
I think that 4441151143 at the bottom is what they go buy. I don't see why you couldn't just print off that pic and take it to them and let them scan the barcode? Size it down if needed.
I'm going to Oklahoma City for the week next week and I'll check a few stores up there and see if it's just my local store that carries them.

Evidently we aren't the first ones to find this idea. I did a Google search for that UPC code, and found several other MC forums that all sound exactly like this one with regard to this item. Only select Walmarts carry them, and they are all relatively cheap (some as low as $14.88). They all seem to give it really good reviews, especially for the price. Seems there are some Walmarts that can't even find the UPC code in their system. Maybe they are not all as linked as we thought??

Mal-Warts linked? Most of them have people working there that don't even know they are alive, let alone function on some sort of electronic hive mentality.
