Dry Rider suits. I see them on e-bay pretty cheap and my experience is that they work VERY WELL. I went from Ottawa to the northern tip of NFLD on a 14 day trip and saw 2 weeks of RAIN day in and day out and didn't get a drop of water on me. The suit also was a GREAT wind break so I didn't have to bundle up as much as would have been expected.

"Of course that was only 19 years ago"

I have a brown turtleneck sweater I wear in the spring and fall so as not to get sore throats. My friends call it the 'Ugly brown sweater' .I got it in a care package when i got my first apartment in 1980!

      I still use it.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

Is this the set you just bought?

I'll stick with the funky yellow banana suit I have if the Frogg toggs won't be any better...

What's the difference between the Frogg Toggs and the Road Toads?

Yup.. it's the set we both just bought. I'd never heard of Road Toads until Ivan brought them up.. so no ideas about them... except they apparently cost more.

            Dry Rider suits.
Do these have that rubberized lining on the inside of them? I've bought two different sets of pants with that in it and the rubber shreds off after one ride where the wind flaps it.

I have had no problems with my Frog Togs getting holes in them. Have probably only wore them for around 600 miles total though. I found them at a sporting goods store on closeout for $20. I do like that they breath really well and still keep me really dry. If I see them that cheap again I am going to pick up a couple sets.
