International members do not have to apologize for their "bad english."
(But a lot of native english speakers should)

                Yes, Welcome BzB,

I hope your username is for BusyBee and not Beelzebub !

Wow, I don't recall ever seeing a Midnight STANDARD before?
I know it's the Euro Sport version, but it's still a cool looking machine.

And curious about the reverse mounted shift lever assembly. The action appears to be the same direction, down for downshifting and up for upshifting, so I'm assuming it was for mounting with the footpeg farther back/up from stock location??

And I knew what you were talking about, because the fumes have to ESCAPE from somewhere!

                          Hi BzB and welcome,
you say you "ended" an XS650 Scrambler? Ended as in "terminated"? or as in "destroyed"? Or perhaps you sold it?
Anyhow, the photo shows a dual exhaust system on the bike's left hand side side.
All the single sided exhaust systems I have ever seen have been on the bike's right hand side.
Where did you find a leftie? To have one of them on my XS650 would make a sidecar installation far easier.

                            Welcome BzB, nice bikes.

Fred, I think he means "finished" when he used "terminated". As in finished restoring.
But folks, let's stop picking at his English lest we make him so self concious about it that we scare him away. It's cool to have such an international community of XSers where we all speak the same language......XS.

Welcome to our newly found French brother (or perhaps sister, it was never specifically mentioned). Do not apologize for your english, it is one of the hardest languages to learn and make sense of. We have many words that mean the same thing and some words mean many things and the words that sound the same, are spelled differently and mean different things. My french is very poor and mostly forgotten, but when I was learning it, it made more sense than english did.

And now for the babelfish translation:
