No, No, No Promethesus,
I said mototcycle trailer. You know, hook to the back of a motorcycle when going long distances. But hey, good guessing. Right on on most other things.
No, No, No...Topcat.........
Come on now man, a Harley????????
Yamaha Venture.
I've got a funny story. That's my fathers bike that he got his self on after buying his first bike from me about 10 years, a Honda. Myself or him have never owned Harley and really have no desire. But, I have a cousin that is die hard Harley. I'm sure you all know the type.Anyway we all were on a ride about 7-8 years ago and stopped at a Harley shop in Beaumont TX for cuz to add to his Harley shop T-shirt collection. My father was asked why he doesn't get a T-shirt. His reply was "No, i'll get in a fight." When asked why he would say that his reply was "A Harley rider would ask why he owns a Harley shirt and rides a Jap. bike and after telling the Harley man that he bought the most dependable thing in the store they would want to fight."
I almost fell on the ground laughing at the look a cuz's face.
So no, it's not a Harley80special w/79special motor.Never ride faster than your angel can fly!!Comment

Sold it 2 weeks ago and picked up the XS Eleven Special.RichardComment

Granted, they host a gagillion images, but viewing the pics can be quite slow as well.
Their privacy policy:
Store your photos and videos online with secure storage from Photobucket. Available on iOS, Android and desktop. Securely backup your memories and sign up today!
Many companies share and exchange and aggregate your personal information. Mother's maiden name here, password there, SSN there, email here, city state zip there.... etc. Combine all of that with a bunch of photos.
Yahoo and Google are famous for all of that. Looks like the photo dumps might be a bit less aggressive, but who knows. Nothing is really free, right?
So my "suck" comment came out of all of that. Not trying to put anyone down.1985 Yamaha VMX12n "Max X" - Stock

"Hey, Mr. Paranoid..."
Ya know, Ben... I'm getting to like you more and more!
Mother's maiden name here, password there, SSN there, email here, city state zip there.... etc. Combine all of that with a bunch of photos
It's called intellegence gathering.
Just the same as I can infer or deduce by looking at photos of people's garages, or their living rooms: Garages for storing stuff they "just can't bring themselves to throw away"... living rooms for "displaying what is emotionally important" to them.
That other thread... the one about the "Radio Stations" where I went on my other rant...
I forgot to add about the FBI/Homeland Security making it a law that librarys have to inform them of who checks-out certain books, etc.
And no... "Blockbuster Video" didn't get my real social security number when I applied for membership. I don't need the Govt. knowing that I rent Shirley Temple movies, etc.
Same as "Radio Shack" asking for home addresses and such. (Maybe I'm using those mercury switches to build detonators, maybe I'm not.)
Photos...
Remember China? They let those Pro-Democracy students hold their rally, and then in the weeks following arrested hundreds based on photos that were taken.
When I snuck down to the Texas rally last summer... How was it that I was able to "properly" greet people by name... People that I had never met before?
I read all the posts in that thread to find out who was gonna be there, and then scoured this site for pictures of John, WildKat, TRBIG, Hobbyman, etc. (Was able to match a name... to a face... to a bike.)
It's hard to participate in todays society and still keep your anonymity.
Always exercise caution about what you post on the internet. Oft' times it will turn and bite you on the ass!
